  • Decorative Treasures Decorative Treasures offers an assortment of "all inclusive" ready-to-paint pottery both functional and decorative available.  No need for artistic talent, reservations, or classes. Walk in customers of all ages are always welcome.  Our knowledgeable instructors are always available to help you step-by-step if needed with colors, technique, or design.   

  • Friends Good Will Tour  Passenger Sails and Dockside Boarding. The Friends Good Will is a replica of an 1810 square topsail sloop, commissioned by and built for the Michigan Maritime Museum in 2004.  Sails most days Memorial Day thru Labor Day.  Offers two 90 minute and one 2 hour sail.

  • Heritage Water Trail Association Heritage Water Trail Association is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation committed to the planning and implementation of a Heritage Water Trail on the south branch of the Black River between the cities of Bangor and South Haven.  Paddlers can launch at Lion's Park in Bangor and end their trip 21 miles downstream at the Michigan Maritime Museum. Paddlers will experience nature and historical sites along the way.  You must have your own canoe.

  • Hole in the Wall Paintball Field Hole in the Wall is a great field with something to offer for anyone into paintball, rookies and experienced. They have a hyper ball field, 1 possibly 2 air ball fields. There is also a large woods area ball field with a small village, "swamp" valley and more. There is a pro-shop for anything you may need.

  • Kayaker's Run Kayaker's Run offers a stretch of river that is a generally swift current to hone your kayaking skills! You can still see eagles, herons and deer, but this 2 ½ hour stretch is what we think kayaking is all about, fun! Paddle at your own pace and ability back to your vehicle at our kayak livery. Some experience recommended; we advise kayakers according to river conditions at the time.

  • Old Allegan Canoe The Kalamazoo River is normally rated class 1, there is no white water. This makes for a canoe outing anyone can enjoy, novice or expert. It allows for a leisurely ride on a mild current that courses approximately 14 miles through the Allegan State Forest and hundreds of acres of wildlife refuge supporting a variety of wildlife from many types of waterfowl, swans, herons, turtles, eagles, kingfishers, and other varieties unique to the Kalamazoo watershed, to foxes and many deer.

  • South Haven Center for the Arts South Haven Center for the Arts offers opportunities for art-making on a drop-in basis.  Hour long creative sessions inspire imaginations and expression.  Lessons are taught by artist and certified art teacher and are designed for children (and children at heart) four and older.  Children younger than four are welcome to attend with a parent.  South Haven Center for the Arts is also home of concerts, exhibits, as well as many exciting programs year round.
