The South Beach is directing west of our campground. You can look directly north and see the North Beach from the South Beach. The South Beach offers a pier for fishing; this pier also houses our Lighthouse that was built in the early 1900’s. Tours for this lighthouse are done as a fundraiser during Harborfest (Fathers Day) in South Haven. The beautiful sandy shores of the South Beach were made for walking, picnicking, playing and offers a beautiful area for swimming. The South Beach offers a snack shop, playground, picnic tables with pavilion, and restrooms. There is a charge for parking and offers no lifeguard observation.
The North Beach offers the same awesome views as their South Beach counterpart. You have to drive over the Dyckman bridge or sight see through North Shore Drive to get to this area.
